This policy explains how Lacio Bilişim (“Quikk”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use Quikk for Mac, Quikk AI Keyboard for iPhone, our websites and our web services (together, the “Services”).
Information we collect
- Account information — such as your name, email address and the sign-in method you choose.
- Content you provide — text, audio, images, screenshots, recordings, notes and other material you send to the Services or choose to save, sync or share.
- Usage and device information — such as app version, device type, operating system, settings, IP address and approximate location, feature usage, and diagnostic and error data.
- Purchase information — your plan or subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple or another payment provider; we do not receive your full card details.
How we use information
- To provide the features you ask for, such as rewriting, translation, dictation, chat, capture and sharing.
- To sync your content and settings across your devices.
- To maintain, secure and improve the Services, and to prevent abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests and important changes.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
AI features
When you use an AI feature, the content needed for that request is sent to our servers and processed by third-party AI and speech-to-text providers to produce the result. We may keep requests and results for a limited time to operate, secure and improve the Services. AI output can be inaccurate; please review it before you rely on it.
iPhone keyboard
Quikk AI Keyboard processes what you type on your device. Text leaves your device only when you use a feature that needs it, such as an AI action or voice typing. The keyboard does not collect input from secure fields such as passwords. Some features require Full Access, which you can turn off at any time in iOS Settings.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Services (such as hosting, storage, AI processing, authentication, analytics, crash reporting and payments), when you choose to share content (for example, a public link — anyone with the link can view it), or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You can delete individual items in the apps, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@tryquikk.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No service can guarantee complete security.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
